Oil skimmer

The oil skimmer is a steel-belt based conveyor used for continuous separation of oil from water; a simple solution to the problem of removing oil pollution from water outlets.

The oil skimmer operates on the principle that adhesion of oil to steel is greater than water. By having one end of the unit immersed into the polluted water, the steel belt will, when travelling upwards, collect an oil film, while the accompanying water will drip off and enabling a separation rate of almost 100%.

Skimmers are made in three standard lifting heights (Lh), 1, 2 and 3 meters.

For lifting heights other than that, an extra “fee” is added to the price. Delivery times is also 2 weeks longer. Below information for non-standard lifting heights
