A light and portable bonding device consisting of a heating plate and a V-grooved clamping bar. The heating plate has a built-in, replaceable heating element with thermostatically controlled heating up to 200 °C.
The V-rope is bonded to the belt under heat and pressure using a bonding tape. The required time and temperature for the bonding depend on which type of rubber and bonding tape is being used.
The heated bonding device is applied to the repair zone by means of separate screw clamps. The device is delivered complete with a connecting cable. Screw clamps can be supplied on request.
