IPCO AB acquires New Era Converting Machinery Inc 

IPCO AB, wholly owned by FAM AB, has acquired web converting equipment manufacturer New Era Converting Machinery Inc.

IPCO is an industrial process solutions company, with around 600 employees in 25 countries, which innovates, manufactures and services advanced high-performance processing equipment and steel belts, supported by a strong local sales and aftermarket presence.  

New Era is a web converting equipment design and manufacturing business, with two facilities in New Jersey, USA, and around 100 employees. Its technology platform of web handling, coating, laminating, embossing and calendering equipment expands IPCO’s presence in key industries, especially in sustainability-driven segments. It also complements IPCO’s double-belt press and film casting solutions.

The acquisition enables IPCO to become a turnkey provider of processing equipment, with a broad portfolio of presses, film casting and web handling solutions. It expects to leverage its strong sales and service & support capabilities in 25 countries to accelerate New Era’s growth.
