On September 30 Industridagen, the annual conference where the Swedish industry, politicians, union representatives and academia meet and discuss hot topics, was held in Sandviken, Sweden. This year’s topic was Life Long Learning and Competence Provision. IPCO and FAM participated in the conference where the Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven held the closing speech.
In connection to the conference local media featured IPCO’s recruitment needs and challenges in the region. Competence is becoming a scares resource in the industry, but Maria Myrberg, HR Manager Division Belts and Per Kreij, Production Manager Division Belts explained that we, so far, has been fortunate in recruiting in the region during the setup of IPCO as a stand alone company.
