A new prototype Rotoform unit (working name RF XG), primarily designed for use with solids, has been successfully tested at a customer’s production facility. Approximately 30 tons of Sulphur based Fertilizer, 6 different mixtures, were produced using the unit the last two weeks of August 2022. Further production and testing will continue over the next few months.
This milestone sets the path for a new generation of Rotoform units capable of running mixtures with solids. The new test unit utilizes components from existing RF 4G and RF HS units. Multiple new technological advances are also incorporated which allow the unit to perform for longer periods with minimal downtime. Prime objectives for this project are minimization of downtime for cleaning, quick exchange of wear parts, and serviceability of the unit.
