Proceeds from internal IT hardware sale go to good cause
As part of an internal campaign, the IPCO employees in Fellbach were able to purchase copied IT hardware. The total proceeds of 7,268 € were donated in equal parts to three different projects:
- Schlupfwinkel in Stuttgart
- Mukoviszidose e.V.
- Fröbelschule Fellbach
The “Schlupfwinkel” looks after children and young people in Stuttgart who live on the streets and offers them a contact point. Link
In Germany, up to 8,000 children, adolescents and adults are affected by the rare hereditary disease cystic fibrosis. Every year, about 150 to 200 children are born with the disease, which is currently incurable. The Bonn-based “Mukoviszidose e.V.” networks patients, their relatives, doctors, therapists and researchers. Link
The “Fröbelschule Fellbach” is a special educational education and counselling centre with a focus on mental and physical-motor development. Link
On 17th December 2019 the “cheque handover” in the amount of 2.422 € to the headmistress of the Fröbelschule Silke Lang and the 1st chairwoman of the “Friends and promoters of the Fröbelschule Fellbach e.V.” Ulrike Lenk took place. The amount will fully benefit the music school cooperation “MuSiTa”. This project makes it possible for some pupils to go to music lessons at the music school in Fellbach every week in order to make music, sing and dance. Therefore, the cheque was handed over with a lot of music. All pupils gathered in the foyer of the school and sang together as a thank you.
