IPCO publishes its first external Sustainability Report

IPCO’s Sustainability Report for 2023 is now available, which outlines the company’s sustainability priorities, goals and performance for 2023.

The Sustainability Report details IPCO’s business model, strategy and sustainability performance, and how it approaches sustainability in its key priorities: Climate impact, Circularity, Own workforce, Supplier workforce and Business conduct.

As an industrial business with deep, long-standing technology and processing expertise, IPCO is now becoming a preferred business partner to companies seeking to scale up the production of materials which accelerate the green transformation, such as sustainable composites and battery technology.

IPCO’s Sustainability Report marks the first step in its preparation for the introduction of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards. The company has introduced science-based targets for 2030 and 2050 in line with the Paris Agreement, and will review its targets for Social and Governance during 2024.

CEO Robert Hermans said, ‘IPCO is fully committed to responding to the growing urgency of the climate crisis. We have an important role to play both in supporting the green transition and in reducing our own environmental impact and that of our products. Over the coming years, we will continue to deepen our understanding of IPCO’s impact, including the energy usage of sold equipment. This will enable IPCO to support its customers with detailed data for their own sustainability reporting.’
